Tom Fairbanks built VECA Electric & Technologies LLC on the foundation of a simple principle– create an environment that allows people to reach their full potential, and they will create a great company. Tom graduated from Washington State University with a BS in Accounting and went to work at Arthur Andersen.
In 1989 Tom purchased VECA Electric with a dream to incorporate his personal core values into a company of his own. VECA’s exponential growth over the years can be attributed to the implementation of VECA values of empowering each other to succeed, creating value for our customers, and accountability, appreciation and abundance. Tom’s sound principles, coupled with integrity, and business acumen makes VECA’s success easily understood.
Tom and his wife Debi, have five children and 12 grandchildren. Along with spending time with his family Tom enjoys traveling to Hawaii, golfing, is actively involved with his church and loves to read.
Dave has over 25 years of domestic and international experience in electrical and heavy industrial projects.With a work history that spans many large organizations such as KBR, Halliburton, Shell, Chevron, BP and Conoco., his extensive industry experience provides unique insight for overseeing our operations and procedures.
Dave is married to his wife Leanna and has two sons. He enjoys snowboarding, off-road motorcycling, golfing and fishing.
Bruce comes to VECA from Massy, a large conglomerate in the Caribbean, where he led multiple organizations and implemented growth strategies across 40 separate businesses. Bruce will be adding valuable insight into preparing for the future of VECA for many years to come.
Matt Fairbanks is responsible for the development, design, operation, and improvement of VECA'S IT systems and processes. Matt ensures that information technology adds the maximum value to VECA to help facilitate the success of our projects and our employees. Matt supports innovation in the electrical industry, and keeps VECA on the forefront of technology.
Keith Conti has over 35 years of experience and brings expert direction to all VECA projects. Throughout his career Keith has developed strong customer relationships, built talented teams and found innovative ways to strengthen VECA's presence in the Northwest. He is a proven relationship builder with unsurpassed interpersonal skills and is responsible for collaboration with stakeholders ensuring that VECA exceeds all project goals.
In her 17 years at VECA, Laura Rannow has served in various roles, from Project Engineer to Director of Human Resources. She is a member of the National Association of Women in Construction, where she has served as Chapter President. Laura's passion is empowering the people of VECA to succeed.
Laura is married to her husband Dave, has six children and three grandchildren.
James has over 25 years of expertise in finance and accounting, serving in leadership positions within the engineering, procurement, construction management industry, as well as within the power management space. James' work history also includes service in public accounting, providing assurance and transaction advisory services to large multi-national clients. His extensive industry experience provides unique insight for overseeing our financial operations.
James is married to his wife Hannah and has two sons and a daughter. He enjoys the great outdoors in the surrounding Seattle area.
Kyle has been a welcomed addition to our team. His business-friendly approach to legal matters has proven invaluable and critical to limiting our risk and reaching mutual agreements with our clients.
