In 1946 as many of our soldiers were returning home from the battle fields of World War II two brothers formed an association of electrical workers comprised of the dedicated men that gave their service in the name of freedom.
The association was named the Veterans Electrical Contractors Association. Under the association the brothers provided the best electrical service in the Northwest. In 1989 the brothers retired and sold the company to Thomas Fairbanks. Realizing the great importance the Veterans Electrical Contractors Association had to the Northwest, Tom decided to keep the name abbreviated as VECA.
In 2002 Brian Westerlund joined VECA as president and took over the reins of the day-to-day operations.
Tom and Brian continue to employ strong and dedicated men and women who carry on the legendary tradition of those who have gone before them.
